This position will be 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday with every other weekend and will support our residents in our Memory Care.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the overall quality of life for residents in both assisted living, memory care and healthcare settings. Promote resident-centered care by honoring individual preferences in daily routines and activities.
Coordinate and implement engaging activity programs tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, including one-on-one visits, group activities, and intergenerational or community events.
Participate in and lead daily programs, encouraging resident involvement and ensuring safety during all activities.
Escort residents to and from activities and off-site events, fostering social engagement and connection.
Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked activity and dining areas.
Provide dining support by participating in meal service, monitoring proper food handling and sanitation, ensuring dietary needs are met, and restocking country kitchens daily.
Conduct quality assurance checks (e.g., food temperatures, taste tests, service standards) and maintain accurate records and audits as required.
Educate and support staff on dining procedures, safety protocols, and person-centered care practices.
Maintain necessary supplies for both activities and dining programs.
Communicate regularly with residents to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote overall well-being. Complete and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, including activity participation and resident responses.
Distribute calendars, handouts, mail, and other materials as needed
Foster an atmosphere of acceptance, compassion, and respect that supports resident adjustment to life in the healthcare or assisted living environment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns, unsafe conditions, or suspected neglect to the appropriate parties.
Perform additional duties as assigned
