Job Description

Job Summary:
As a CDL Driver at John Parker Paving, you will be responsible for safely transporting asphalt, concrete, construction materials, and equipment to various job sites. You will play a vital role in supporting our paving crew, ensuring that materials are delivered on time and the necessary equipment is properly hauled to and from work sites.

Job Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks, preferably in the construction or paving industry.

Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and safe driving practices.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.

Experience with operating and maneuvering large trucks and construction vehicles.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Must be able to climb in and out of trucks and equipment as needed.

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
