Job Description

The middle school math teacher will be teaching mathematics to students in 5-8th grades.
Lesson Planning- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of students
Assessment– Assign and grade homework, classwork, quizzes and tests to evaluate student progress
Student Support- Provide individualized assistance to students, addressing areas of difficulty
Collaboration- Work with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment

Job Requirements

Carroll Lutheran School, a growing K-8 private school in Westminster, MD is hiring a full time middle school math teacher. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in education and possess a current teaching certificate. Candidates in the process of earning or renewing their certification can apply, as can those who earned their certification in an alternative area of study. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency with instructional technology, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task are crucial to this middle school role.
