Job Description

This position requires overnight travel. This is NOT a local position. You will be away from home Monday-Friday. Weekends at home guaranteed.

Chesapeake Geosystems, based in Baltimore, MD, is seeking reliable heavy equipment operators to join our travel team. You will assist our lateral crew in trenching and backfilling on geothermal job sites.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Verifiable experience in heavy equipment operating, such as loaders, excavators, and bulldozers
• Pipelaying experience is a plus!
• Willingness to travel weekdays (overnight)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
Physical Demand:
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80 lbs. of heavy equipment
• Frequent physical activity, including reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling climbing

Wages per hour: $25-$35/ hour DOE
