What You Will Do
As a part of the Fleet Management/Warehouse Operations team, you will greet and engage with customers, evaluate service requests, and verify warranty coverage. You will assist in scheduling appointments, maintain customer contact information, and finalize work orders for repairs.
Essential Duties
• Greet and engage with customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Serve as a point of contact for County agencies and clients.
• Create, maintain, and finalize work orders through the Fleet Management System.
• Evaluate service requests, identify vehicle performance problems, and initiate automotive services and repairs.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain vehicle service records.
• Schedule appointments for equipment preventative services and emergency repairs.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle transportations and services with third party vendors.
• Maintain customer contact information. Arrange towing and temporary transportation services, communicate time frame for service completion, and answer customer questions and concerns.
• Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.

• Valid driver’s license
• Forklift Operator license (or must obtain within 6 months of employment)
• Department of Transportation (DOT) physical card

• Occasional exposure to potentially adverse environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, chemicals, noise, and airborne particles.
• Frequent exposure to potentially adverse weather conditions.
• Frequent physical activity: standing/walking, pushing/pulling, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying, climbing steps, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and related activities.
• Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
