Job Description

North East Social Action Program (NESAP) is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and oversee all aspects of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, community-centered Christian nonprofit committed to serving individuals and families through sustainable retail operations, food assistance, and compassionate outreach.

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive of NESAP and is responsible for strategic direction, fundraising leadership, and operational management of our thrift store, merchandising activities, and food pantry.

Job Requirements

Required & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, social work, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit, retail, or related setting
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with budgeting, fundraising, and volunteer coordination
Passion for Christian-based community service and social impact

Bonus Skills:
Grant writing and donor cultivation experience
Familiarity with retail operations and food pantry logistics
Proficiency in QuickBooks, POS systems, and Microsoft Office

Wages per hour: 60,000-75,000 annually
