Job Description

Ken Cialkowski Construction Services in Westminster is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our rapidly expanding business. If you are a skilled builder, detail-oriented, dependable, and hard-working, we are looking for you! You must have your own tools and reliable transportation. Please do not apply if you do not have at least 5 years of relevant experience, your application will not be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Perform all duties associated with deck and railing construction, including framing, decking, railing systems, staircases, etc.

– The ability to read, understand, and follow project blueprints

– Perform quality control checks at every phase of construction to ensure the project meets client expectations and company standards

– Troubleshooting and resolving any on-site issues related to workmanship or materials

– Extensive experience with hand tools and equipment

– Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing work

– Maintain a clean and organized job site

– Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients

– Provide regular progress updates and report any delays or challenges to management, and address client concerns as they arise

– Must work well with a team but capable of working independently

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Must own basic set of hand tools

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Must have a valid driver’s license

You must be dependable, reliable, and have strong work ethic.

General construction knowledge regarding framing, running trim, hanging doors, windows and cabinets, painting, tile setting and more is a huge advantage
