Job Description

The purpose of the Maintenance/Janitor Associate is to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our store environment including the inside and outside of the building, Your attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance activities will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and a well-maintained workplace for our staff.

Responsibilities include:

* Perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities to uphold the store’s appearance and hygiene standards.
* Sweep, mop, shop-vac, and run floor scrubber regularly to keep a clean and safe surface for both customers and associates.
* Empty trash receptacles and replace garbage bags to maintain a tidy environment.
* Wipe down surfaces such as counters, display shelves, and fixtures to maintain a polished and organized presentation.
* Monitor and report any safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

2 Openings – 7:00 am to 11:00 am or 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm – 20 hours per week/5 days per week
One year maintenance/janitor experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
Able to navigate and access all facilities.

Wages per hour: $13.50 to $14.25 per hour
