Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Drywall Professional to join our team. This position requires expertise in both painting and drywall installation, repair, and finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing high-quality workmanship. The Painter and Drywall Professional will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring drywall is installed and finished to a professional standard.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Drywall Installation & Repair:

Measure, cut, and install drywall in residential or commercial spaces.
Patch holes, cracks, and imperfections in drywall.
Apply joint compound, tape, and sanding to create smooth, even surfaces.
Ensure all drywall is properly aligned and secure.
Surface Preparation:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Repair and patch surfaces, including drywall, plaster, and wood, ensuring a smooth base for paint application.
Painting & Finishing:

Apply interior and exterior paint, stains, and finishes to various surfaces.
Use brushes, rollers, and sprayers to apply paint evenly and professionally.
Prepare and mix paints and finishes to desired color and consistency.
Ensure proper paint application techniques are used to prevent drips, streaks, and uneven coverage.
Clean-Up & Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of paint and drywall materials.
Follow all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials.
Protect surrounding areas and furniture from paint splatters and drywall debris.
Customer Service:

Interact professionally with clients, addressing questions and concerns as needed.
Ensure customer satisfaction with completed work.
Maintenance & Tool Care:

Maintain and care for painting and drywall tools and equipment.
Regularly inspect tools for wear and tear and arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary.
Qualifications:

This position may involve working in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals (personal protective equipment will be provided).
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.

MONDAY 6:30am – 3:00pm  TUESDAY 7:00am – 3:30pm  WEDNESDAY 7:00am – 3:30pm  THURSDAY 7:00am – 3:30pm  FRIDAY 7:00am – 3:30pm  SATURDAY occasional
