Job Description

As part of the Department of the Comptroller, you will lead our payroll operations. Under the direction of the Bureau Chief of Accounting, your expertise as a payroll manager will ensure employees receive their approved compensation in a timely and accurate manner. You will manage the overall payroll procedures within our organization; the leadership you provide will support the payroll team and ensure work complies with all laws and tax obligations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Five or more years of related experience
• Three or more years of supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to perform supervisory duties.
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
• Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO), Compensation and Benefits (preferred)
