What You Will Do
As the Housing & Community Connections Program Coordinator, you will apply your project management skills to support the public housing authority. You will coordinate various projects while acting as a department liaison, update policy based on federal changes, and assist with data analysis. The work you do will support the continued provision of housing services provided to the community.
Essential Duties
• Provide skilled project support to the Division Manager and Program Manager for Housing & Community Connections.
• Coordinate various projects, including the Annual Plan and changes to the public housing authorities Administrative Plan, as well as any action plan requirements. Create termination timeline for all housing assistance terminations.
• Act as a liaison for various agencies, organizations and boards. Schedule, attend, and document meetings, as assigned.
• Coordinate agency websites, ensuring accurate and current information is provided. Monitor, update, and respond as needed.
• Analyze program data and compile management reports. Coordinate the ongoing data reviews for the Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP), and submission of the Annual Plan.
• Coordinate surveys for the department, conducting data analysis to make informed program recommendations based on Public Indian Housing (PIH) notices regarding policy and federal regulation changes. Assist leadership with the organization and compilation of the Annual Plan and SEMAP.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies.
• Prepare presentations on various division projects.
• Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human services, or a related field
• Three or more years of related experience
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
Required Licenses and Certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Housing Specialist training (or must obtain within 6 months of employment)
• Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodation training (or must obtain within 6 months of employment)
Additional Information
• Requires criminal background check as condition of employment.
• May be required to work outside of standard hours.
