Job Description
The City of Westminster is seeking a Recreation Assistant for the Recreation and Parks Department. This position is responsible for providing a variety of services to the Recreation and Parks patrons and Family Fitness Center members. These services include, but is not limited to, performing front desk monitoring of the City’s Fitness Center, cleaning and maintaining the facility daily, and answering the Recreation Department’s phone system.
A candidate for this position will provide responsible supervision for children in the child supervision area to include attending to infants and children in need and implementing safe and enjoyable games and activities for the children. The Recreation Assistant will be responsible for processing membership applications, answering questions about the fitness center and providing tours, and will provide explanation of fitness center equipment to members as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma GED.
The hourly rate for this full-time, 40 hour per week position is $16.00/hour.
