Employment Type: Awake Overnight – Part-Time

10pm – 8am (Wednesday – Saturday)
10pm – 8am (Sunday – Thursday)
11pm – 8am (Monday – Wednesday)
11pm – 7am (Friday – Sunday)
11pm – 7am (Thursday – Monday)

Humanim’s Behavioral Health Department, Residential Rehabilitation Program, is looking to fill Rehabilitation Counselor positions currently available. Rehabilitation Counselors provide individualized teaching, training, and support to young adults and adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses to help them increase their independence in the community. Counselors work with clients in their home and throughout the community to provide life skills training and services.

This is an entry level position which provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the behavioral health field with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualified candidates should be energetic, patient, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exhibit highly developed organizational and time management skills. In addition, creativity, reliability and basic computer skills are a plus!

Schedule: Awake Overnight

Job Requirements

High School Diploma/GED equivalent
1 year mental health experience
Valid driver’s license and vehicle available for work/during the duration of the shift
Understand person-centeredness and how to put it into daily practice
Background Check and Drug Screening required.
