Job Description

Primary
• Driving and operating a pump truck.
• Pumping septic tanks – connecting hoses, measuring liquid and solid levels in tanks and drywells, accessing necessary repairs & improvements, etc.
• Minor repairs.
• Call customers daily to notify them of service.
• Communicate recommendations for septic improvements to office.
• Communicate with customers who are engaged in learning about their septic systems.
Secondary
• Drive and operate dump truck to pick up and/or deliver sand, soil, gravel, etc.
• Drive and operate tank setting truck to pick up and/or deliver septic tanks.
• Drive and operate snow truck for SHA contract as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Must possess a CDL Class A or B license in good standing with tank endorsement.
• Must be able to drive trucks with a manual transmission.
• Must have an acceptable clean driving record.
• Must be in uniform daily.
• Drivers must obtain & maintain a DOT physical at their expense.
• Employees are subject to drug screen at time of hire and throughout employment.
