Job Description
English American Tailoring Company is looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to handle incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse. Job duties include tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments.
Job Requirements
Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
Ensuring that all the garments is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
Managing all garments with appropriate care and placing in cartons, taping up boxes to prepare for shipping.
Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
Using the UPS machine app to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination both locally and internationally.
Unload containers and process all garments/fabric received on a weekly basis.
