Job Description
Job Title: Technology Integration Specialist
Pay Schedule: Administrative & Technical Services, Lane 2
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Supervisor of Information Services or Supervisor of Information Technology
JOB SUMMARY
Assist with the needs analysis, implementation, support and training of web based applications, third party systems and other technology related initiatives. Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of technology related projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare and maintain all support and training documentation for the application systems supported and facilitated by the Technology Services Department.
Plan, coordinate and facilitate training to CCPS staff on both internally developed and third party system applications and technology initiatives.
Manage and maintain our internal hardware and application systems knowledgebase and news articles.
Coordinate application testing for both internally developed and third party systems. Thoroughly document the test plan and report the results back to the Developer and/or stakeholders. Assist Development team with data analysis/data clean up or other application administrative tasks.
Consult with users on their technology needs, application issues and problems. Review the request and independently resolve routine issues, escalate more complex issues or provide suggested design change feedback to Technology Services staff and/or stakeholders.
Manage both internal and cross-departmental projects. Work with Technology Services Supervisors and stake holders to set goals, coordinate timelines and maintain Technology Services standards and procedures. Work directly with the vendors to schedule presentations and acquire costs estimates and contract information.
Conduct needs analysis meetings with our users, compile the request and share it with the appropriate Technology Services staff members for feedback and discussion. Facilitate the delivery of the solution to the user as needed.
Document requests for system changes and monitor the request to ensure the completion deadline is met.
Implement basic configuration changes, provide technical support and assist with software installation and mobile device support.
Participate in the evaluation process of new systems and/or the feasibility of user requested system alterations.
Ensure security requests are properly documented in the User Management System. Approve and deny user rights requests for our internally developed web applications.
Support the Technology Services management team in the daily administrative operations of the department including, but not limited to purchasing, payroll, budgeting, contract management and vendor management.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree or Certificate in a computer related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
-OR three (3) years of work experience related to project management, documentation, support and training users in technology-based systems.
Proven advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Must have professional experience writing effective and succinct user guides and other technical documentation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess excellent customer service and strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment.
Ability to speak confidently and articulately present ideas to a group of users.
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Possess well-developed analytical/troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with school system staff.
