Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Insurance Post Closer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and finalizing closing documents, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and coordinating the post-closing process to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of title insurance regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review executed closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with title insurance policies, lender instructions, and state regulations.
• Record necessary documents with the appropriate county or municipal office.
• Disburse funds and verify all financial transactions are completed accurately.
• Issue final title policies and coordinate with underwriters as needed.
• Address and resolve post-closing issues, including missing documents or funding discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed and organized closing files for future audits and compliance checks.
• Communicate with clients, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate a seamless post-closing process.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: No experience necessary. On the job training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of title insurance and real estate closing procedures.
o Proficiency in title software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
o Strong organizational and time management abilities.
o Effective communication and customer service skills.
