Job Description

Trailer Mechanic Technician will have responsibility for performing repairs and service on a variety of different kinds of trailers included but not limited to landscape, horse, utility, equipment, enclosed, car hauler, and dump trailers.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, problem solve and repair Customer’s Trailers
Perform brake service, welding, tire service, replacing parts, suspension, inspecting, hitch installation, snow plow installation, electrical wiring, and painting
Collaborate with management, technician team and monitor progress
Coordinate material and supply management with team
Receive / maintain forklift certification.  Safely operate forklift to move and maintain yard inventory.
Maintain neat and organized shop and parts showroom
Adhere to Bartley “Safety Always” program

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Working knowledge of or willingness to learn DOT compliance regulations
Forklift certified or willing be certified
The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to assist or perform repairs when needed.
