Job Description

Normal duties of a construction electrician when on-the-job training with work placement assigned by the training center. Additional classroom instruction required on scheduled class days.

Job Requirements

In order to apply applicants must provide a copy of a valid driver’s license, high school transcripts, high school diploma (or GED equivalent), and be 18 years old by December 31 on the year of acceptance. Once they have applied, applicants will be scheduled for an electrical trade’s aptitude test and a minimum score must be met for applicants to move on to in-person interviews.

Shift: For the first two years of the apprenticeship, apprentices will attend one day of school (7am-3:30pm) every two weeks. For the last three, apprentices will attend 2 days of night school (5-8:30pm) every week. Apprentices will be compensated for time spent in class.

How to Apply: Applications can be filled out in-person at the training center (2699 W Patapsco Ave, Baltimore) between 7:30am and 3:30pm Monday-Friday. Bring your driver license, high school transcripts, and diploma (or GED equivalent) to make sure your application is complete.
