Job Description
A Sheet Metal Fabricator at Raloid will be responsible for the fabrication of tight tolerance sheet metal panels, brackets, covers, enclosures, etc. These components may be made from aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. To be successful in this role you will be accustomed to building and inspecting parts utilizing manufacturing blueprints and have some knowledge of GD&T. You will be operate shears, a Mitsubishi laser cutter, and Amada Turret punches and brakes, in addition, to various supplementary hand tools.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
2+ years of brake and punch operation
Fundamental GD&T understanding
Computer experience
Manual machining experience (mill and lathe)
Setup experience with Amada punch and brake
Familiarity with Amada Brake NC control units
Sheet metal roller experience
Previous CNC Operator experience is preferred but we’ll train the right individual
Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing techniques is preferred
Knowledge of machining principles, GD&T print reading, measuring tools is preferred
