Job description Our high-volume distribution center for Giant Food is seeking a hardworking, dependable Dock Workers. In this position, you will use a forklift or pallet jack to move items to the staging area and make sure they are packaged correctly before loading them onto delivery trucks. You will help clean the trailers that are coming from the stores and stack and load materials. Starting pay is $15/hr. and must be able to work 2nd shift, 2pm start time until complete or a 3rd shift, 10pm start time until complete Call Stephanie at 301-543-6191 today to schedule for Thursdays @ 1pm Dock Worker Duties and Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading trucks Move items to staging area using a forklift or pallet jack Ensure items are packaged safely before shipping Input shipping information into computer system Log any shortages or damages Maintain a clean and safe workplace Dock Worker Requirements and Qualifications Forklift certification a plus (but not necessary) Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment a plus Physical stamina At least 18 years old
