Competitive compensation- Base Salary range $750-800 paid weekly for experienced licensed applicants. Applicable commissions paid quarterly.

Job Requirements

What you’re good at:

You’re a self-starter and an independent learner who enjoys mastering new skills quickly. With very little supervision, you anticipate needs, take action and create efficiencies. You’re organized and know the art of building relationships with teammates, clients and vendors. Using your impeccable communication skills and work ethic, you will apply critical thinking skills, work independently and anticipate agency needs and client questions.

When you join us, we expect you to:

-A valid State of Maryland P&C license is highly preferred, but stellar unlicensed applicants still encouraged to apply!
-Cultivate strong relationships with – and serve as the main point of contact for your portfolio of clients, key vendors, and carriers.
· Generate and send applications for signature
· Submit bind orders
· Certificates/Binders of Insurance
· Process and order renewals
· Answer routine coverage inquiries
· Process policy changes
· Manage agency-billed invoicing and inquiries
· Rewrites/Mid-term line additions: create marketing submissions in Epic
· Re-marketing and reviewing of accounts/coverage
· Prepare audits and recommendations/ inspections for advisor’s review
· Prepare summaries of coverage for advisors
· Opportunity to expand existing accounts as required
· Clearly document all correspondence with insureds and carriers in a timely manner (via activities and/or attachments)
· Special Events (when Account Associate is unavailable)
· Bonds (MHIC, performance, bid, etc.)
· Nominal bonds

What you’ll bring to our team:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills and aptitude for learning new technology
Microsoft 365 proficiency required
Positive attitude, good listening skills and empathy
Highly organized and strong time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
