Business Product/Service: Position Summary: Plan and direct operations of an assigned school age program to ensure the Caliday Program mission, vision and values are upheld, and children are provided with a developmentally age-appropriate learning environment; Provides support and direction to the Teachers Aide. Essential Functions: • Provides a welcoming and friendly environment for all children, parents, visitors, and school family. • Pursues continuous self-development through trainings and continuing education classes. • Ensures program is consistently clean, neat, and organized and meets visual execution standards • Manages classroom ensuring compliance with all OCC regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures. • Fosters open communication with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings. Education/Experience: • MSDE-OCC School-Age Program Teacher qualified with 90-hour School Age Teacher certification or college course equivalence. • Minimum of 1-year experience in a licensed child facility or 1 year of college.
