$51,870 annually plus benefits
37.5 hours per week

Location: Library Administrative Offices in New Windsor, MD

Job summary:
Performs a variety of duties in the operation of the Materials Management department in a shared collection environment, including reviewing and selecting materials, evaluating collections, and managing budget accounts; performs other duties as assigned.

May be eligible to telecommute part-time after being employed for six months.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree;
2. Three or more years of library associate experience;
3. Requires 90 contact hours of approved in-service training through Library Associate Training Institute (LATI) within first 2 years of employment or 9 hours of formal academic course work in library science;
4. Direct experience with materials selection in a public library setting preferred;
5. or equivalent technical training, education, and experience.
