Job Description

Perform function testing of HVAC components and systems in a controlled lab environment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures of HVAC units.

Essential Functions

Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company’s rules and policies.
Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and CMMI).
Maintain and safeguard business records
Conduct HVAC testing in a safe and efficient manner following established procedures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot to component level all electrical and mechanical problems.
Document all failures and generate reports for Quality data collection.
Assist HVAC engineering in prototyping and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Maintain test equipment including calibration and repairs.
Provide support and training to team members as directed.

Technical Competencies

Working knowledge of HVAC systems including pressure testing, vacuum, and charging of circuits.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
Mechanical Aptitude: Diagnose and repair of various HVAC components.
