Job Description

Full-time, year-round laborer position providing policing for the grounds maintenance crews and supporting the lead policing technician policing routes on a large campus and areas assigned on a daily basis. Looking for a motivated team member with experience in the industry. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Start date on or before 2/6/23. Job will require working in extreme weather conditions including snow work. Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen, and able to pass a background check/drug screening. Reports To: Lead Policing Tech
Status: Non-Exempt Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Patrolling for and removal of trash, sticks, and other misc. debris
• Emptying of cigarette, trash, and recyclable containers
• Report any safety issues to management in a timely manner
• Reports daily on completed tasks on policing sheets, turned in at week’s end.
• Enforces safety regulations at the work site.
• Operates and may perform minor maintenance on vehicles and a variety of equipment, including special equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assist in snow removal duties
• Assist lead policing tech in all grounds tasks and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Licenses/Training:
State Driver License

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
