ELECTRONICS MECHANIC

M.T. Laney Co. Inc. is an established, successful construction firm in Eldersburg, MD. We are searching for an experienced, committed, career-minded Electronics Technician/Mechanic to be part of our growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Always ensures a safe work environment for self and others
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Install and repair backup cameras, GPS, and dashcams on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Conducts light repairs of all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all safety policies and use proper PPE

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a minimum of 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• An emphasis on safety on and off the road
• Punctual and reliable; good attendance required
• Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand and follow directions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions or shop
• Lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Stand for prolonged amounts of time
• Walk, bend, kneel, and twist
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Able to work from elevated platforms

MONDAY 8 – 10 Hours  TUESDAY 8 – 10 Hours  WEDNESDAY 8 – 10 Hours  THURSDAY 8 – 10 Hours  FRIDAY 8 – 10 Hours  SATURDAY Some possible hours if needed  SUNDAY Some possible hours if needed
Shift: Weekend may be needed on occasions. Employee would be offered another day off through the week if they have to work on a Sunday.
