ReStore Associate
Reports to: Manager/Assistant Manager
Job Type: Full Time
Job details
Habitat ReStore Associates provide excellent customer service and ensures customers and donors have a safe, positive, and rewarding experience. They assist in pricing, merchandising, and maintaining the sales floor; cashiering, moving, and loading donations; and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for ensuring donations are cleaned and priced according to the pricing guide.
· Verify items are priced correctly under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and Resource Coordinator.
· Help keep the loading dock clear, clean, and in a safe condition.
· Assist donors dropping off donations while using good judgment to determine if the merchandise is sellable.
· Assist with unloading ReStore truck.
· Greet, thank, and answer customer and donor questions.
· Operate the Point-of-Sale cash register system.
· Handle cash and credit card transactions.
· When cashiering, stay within sight of the front door and register at all times.
· Complete daily checklist for opening and closing store.
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
· Reliable Transportation
· Good communication skills.
· Dependable, with excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to lift heavy items, stand, squat, bend, and climb.
· Willingness and ability to work in warehouse conditions.
· Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Requirements

Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Must pass criminal background check
