Job Description
Assemble and test components such as sub-assemblies, brake units, door motor drives, wiring harness, and detail parts working at assembly and test benches. Must be able to verify components meet Knorr standards or identify failures/non-conformities using mechanical/test equipment with various measurement devices or with hand and power tools.
Essential Functions
Assemble parts or components to build a new product.
Contribute in fitting, building, or reconstruction of various parts to ensure smooth process of component amalgamation.
Study, read, and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc.
Set up, arrange, and operate assembly and test equipment (if applicable) per specifications and/or instructions, or direction from the Cell Leader or Supervisor.
Conduct tests on pneumatic or hydraulic assemblies or systems based on test criteria as established by procedures and/or written test plans.
Verify proper supply voltage, air or hydraulic pressure is reaching components with correct timing and actuating accordingly.
Test electrical components such as, wiring, switches, and relays using test equipment.
Maintain accurate records of test results and report results both pass and fail as required.
Implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the senior personnel, so that quality of products is maintained.
Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company’s rules and policies.
Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and CMMI).

Required Education
High School Diploma
Required Experience
3-5 Years Relevant Experience
Technical Degree or Certificate with 1 years of experience in lieu of experience
Work Environment
Sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, etc.
