Job Description

We are looking for an experienced equipment operator (excavators, skid loaders, wheel loaders, dozers, end dumps, etc) that can be knowledgeable of both the equipment they run and the overall job the crew will be trying to accomplish on site. A well rounded, hardworking individual who will not be opposed to jumping out of equipment and helping his laborer get pipe together or install a role of fence while waiting to backfill. This person must take pride in their work and be willing to help progress the speed and efficiency of the job in whatever way they can to help the crew as a whole accomplish the job.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:
Assist with the construction or renovation of residential or commercial water management systems.
Lift, carry, and place materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred but not required
Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, clients, and customers.
Ability to understand and forecast next steps needed in tasks to help the foreman with speeding up efficiency and workflow
Operate a variety of construction equipment, such as skidloaders, excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, trenchers, and end dumps.
Manual labor at times involved with installing sediment fence, getting material at the right elevations, and putting together baskets, stabilizing dirt areas, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour
