Job Description

Seeking passionate SUPPORT STAFF to provide one-on-one support to an young woman with a developmental disability to ensure she has the support she needs to live and learn as independently as possible in her community and home. Applicant should be dedicated to enhance quality of life and motivated to support goal achievement.
This position provides person-centered support in social skills, health and wellness, self-care, self-advocacy, functional academics, and community access skills. You will assist the person with:
• Maximizing independence by teaching various life and vocational skills
• Explore and encourage enjoyment of social and recreational activities
• Engaging in meaningful activities throughout the day
• Providing personal assistance as necessary, including assistance with personal hygiene
• Behavioral Support (include handling potential physical and verbal outbursts).

Job Requirements

•Must be 18 years or older. •Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.•Must pass criminal background.•Valid Driver’s License
