Job Description
Direct, coordinate, support and manage the daily operations of the preschool.
Accomplish long-range planning regarding students, staffing, and facilities.
Oversee the hiring, supervision, evaluation, and professional development of all preschool staff in accordance with policies.
Oversee the development of an appropriate curriculum.
Oversee the development and production of various communication materials.
Provide informational visits and programs for families.
Administer registration and enrollment of students; collection and recording of tuition; preparation of annual budget request; purchase of equipment and supplies.
Comply with licensing and regulations.
Work cooperatively with staff, congregational leaders, and committees.
Job Requirements
Meet or exceed the State of Maryland’s requirements for preschool directors.
Hold a bachelor’s degree and experience in early childhood education, strongly preferred.
