Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Shop Mechanic and become an integral part of our fast-paced and constantly evolving workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engine and Transmission Expertise: Put your extensive experience to work by installing, diagnosing, and maintaining engine and transmission parts in various trucks and heavy equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in keeping our fleet running at optimal performance levels.
2. Hydraulic System Maintenance (Preferred): If you have prior experience with hydraulic systems, you’ll be tasked with inspecting, repairing, and servicing these vital components, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
3. Gas and Diesel Engines: While not a requirement, familiarity with both gas and diesel engines is highly valued. This knowledge will further diversify your skillset and enhance your ability to tackle a broader range of tasks.
4. Deadline-Driven and Adaptable: Embrace the fast-paced nature of our shop and thrive in an environment where priorities may change rapidly. Meeting deadlines while maintaining precision and quality workmanship is key to your success.

6. Preventative Maintenance: Play an integral role in our commitment to preventive maintenance. By conducting regular inspections and implementing proactive measures, you’ll contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the lifespan of our equipment.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of technicians and mechanics, sharing knowledge and ideas to collectively enhance the efficiency and productivity of our shop.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a shop mechanic, with a focus on trucks and heavy equipment.
– Strong understanding of engine and transmission systems, with the ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair efficiently.
– Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred) to carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
– Knowledge of gas and diesel engines is advantageous, but not mandatory.
– Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality workmanship.
– Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges as they arise.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
– Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
