Job Description

The Material Handler participates in the execution of warehouse operations in an industrial work environment. To successfully perform these tasks, it requires a high level of attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.

Essential Functions
Participates in daily cycle counting of parts in the warehouse.
Operates a computer and or RF scanner to access, enter, and correct information in the SAP operating system in various areas of the warehouse ex: receiving, high racks, Kardex and shipping.
Required to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, stand-up trucks, pallet jacks, etc to stock material, unload and load trucks.
Puts away, or stocks materials into assigned warehouse locations including High rack and Kardex/Modula.
Must be willing work overtime and alternate shifts determined by changes in workload demand.
Assists with identifying and or providing suggestions regarding process improvements in assigned area.
Demonstrate a willingness to be cross trained in multiple areas of warehouse operations ex: receiving, high racks, Kardex and shipping.
Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members, as directed, and any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Sr. Personnel.
Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company’s rules and policies.
Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and CMMI).
Maintain and safeguard business records

Job Requirements

Required Education
High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience
1-2 Years Relevant Experience

Work Environment
Sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, etc.
Maximum lifting/carrying: 50 lbs.

Wages per hour: $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience
