Job Description

As a Construction Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers to learn the essential skills and techniques required for the trade. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Assist in Installation: Support experienced plumbers in installing and connecting pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and specifications.
– Learn Plumbing Techniques: Learn various plumbing techniques such as soldering, brazing, threading, and welding under the guidance of skilled professionals.
– Material Handling: Assist in the transportation and handling of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
– Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
– Troubleshooting and Repairs: Assist in troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing repairs as directed by experienced plumbers.
– Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure efficient workflow and safe working conditions.
– Learn Codes and Regulations: Familiarize yourself with local plumbing codes and regulations and ensure compliance during all plumbing installations and repairs.
– Communicate Effectively: Maintain open communication with the team to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met.

Job Requirements

**Qualifications**

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Enthusiasm to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade.
– Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
– Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces.
– Basic understanding of mechanical construction systems (preferred)
