Job Description

As a Housing Specialist I, you will use a trauma-informed approach to provide basic case management for subsidized housing program clients. Reporting to the Housing & Community Connections Program Manager, you will analyze financial information and support fraud investigations, while maintaining confidentiality. The work you do will support service delivery of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Choice Voucher Program in accordance with all applicable laws and standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• One or more years of related experience
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement
• Housing Choice Voucher Specialist certification (or must obtain within 6 months of employment)
• Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodations certification (or must obtain within 6 months of employment)
