Job Description

As a Road Maintenance Worker I, you will perform traffic control duties, operate various equipment, and maintain vehicles. Working under the direction of the Foreman, you will assist with various maintenance tasks while ensuring a safe work environment. The work you do will help to ensure the County’s roadways are kept safe and clear.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Up to one year of related experience
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
• Valid driver’s license
• Department of Transportation (DOT) physical card
• State of Maryland Flagging Certification (or must obtain within six months of employment)
