We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial construction, renovations, and remodeling.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to create structures such as frameworks, staircases, doors, and windows.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials and methods needed for each project.
Finishing: Apply finishes like paint, stain, or sealants to wooden structures or fixtures.
Repairs and Renovations: Repair damaged wooden structures, replace broken components, and refurbish old woodwork to meet updated standards or aesthetics.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while using tools and equipment, ensuring a safe work environment.
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and properly store tools and equipment used for carpentry.
Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, general contractors to ensure work is completed on time and to specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction-related role.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools (saws, drills, hammers, levels, etc.).
Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Attention to detail and precision in all work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an apprenticeship or carpentry training program.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience with advanced carpentry tasks such as cabinetry or trim work is a plus.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and building codes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs.
Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including outdoors.
