What You Will Do
As the Fiscal Technician for the Housing team, you will use your experience to perform a variety of support duties, including processing documents, reviewing financial records, and preparing statistical reports. Working under the guidance of the Fiscal Analyst, you will help to ensure fiscal deadlines are met and support fiscal compliance. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a basic understanding of grants.
Essential Duties
Prepare payment vouchers, purchase requisitions, work orders, travel authorizations, and other documents.
Maintain and process reimbursement requests in coordination with other county and state agencies.
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency and assure fiscal compliance.
Assist with quality control by reviewing Financial Management System (FMS) records for accuracy.
Prepare and review agency correspondence and statistical reports. Compile reports for statistical and summary use by management.
Assist with the monitoring of grants.
Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.
