What You Will Do
As the Risk Management Technician, you will play an important role in providing administrative support to the Office of Risk Management. You will ensure organization and efficiency in the office by filing and scanning insurance claim documents, answering telephone calls, and maintaining training records. We are looking for a team player who will support the office in providing a safe environment for employees, visitors and citizens.
Essential Duties
• Provide clerical support in overall office operations, including scanning, filing, and answering inquiries.
• Collect data, research and compile information from various sources.
• Greet and engage with visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Serve as a point of contact for County agencies and citizens.
• Establish, organize, and maintain paper and computer records management and other file systems.
• Research and compile information from various sources. Maintain and prepare statistical reports and other data related to risk management.
• Process accident and incident reports including Worker’s Compensation, general liability, auto, and property insurance.
• Input and maintain Safety Shoe program and training records.
• Input and maintain employee records, including emergency contact, training, driver’s license, and DOT information.
• Process voucher payments, cash receipts journals, and insurance certificates as needed.
• Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
• Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
