Job Description

We are a busy, well-equipped independent shop in Westminster looking to add an experienced or highly motivated Light & Medium-Duty Truck Mechanic to our team.

If you love working on everything from 1-ton diesel pickups (Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins) to Class 3–5 commercial box trucks, regional delivery fleets, and advanced light-duty vehicles—without the back-breaking, greasy overhaul work of Class 8 semi-trucks—this is the bay for you.

We keep a clean, organized shop, invest in modern diagnostic equipment, and respect our techs’ time and expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on light-duty trucks, SUVs, and medium-duty fleet vehicles (Class 3 to Class 5).

Performing diesel engine diagnostics, emissions troubleshooting, brake systems, steering/suspension, and routine fleet maintenance.

Utilizing modern scan tools to pinpoint complex drivability and electrical issues.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in automotive or light/medium diesel repair. (Recent graduates from programs like Lincoln Tech or NATS with strong mechanical aptitude are highly encouraged to apply!)

Skills: Strong understanding of diesel platforms, electrical troubleshooting, and general automotive repair. Steering, suspension, and alignment experience is a major plus.

Tools: Must have your own basic set of tools (shop provides major diagnostic gear, lifts, and specialty equipment).

Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented, and a clean driving record. ASE certifications are a plus but not required if you have the drive and hands-on skills.
