Job Description

Signing Bonus- $500 after 90 days + $500 after 180 days

Full-Time | Westminster, MD

$52,000–$62,000 annually + benefits (based on license level and experience. Most ADTs will start at $52,000)

Are you a dedicated mental health professional with a heart for helping people in recovery? Addiction Healing Center is seeking a Clinical Counselor to provide therapy to individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

This is an ideal opportunity for license-eligible professionals seeking meaningful clinical experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver individual and group counseling services to both residential and outpatient clients
Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist with intake processes
Develop and update individualized treatment plans using ASAM criteria
Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and participate in regular treatment meetings
Document all sessions and treatment updates accurately and promptly in compliance with CARF and COMAR standards
Support clients’ emotional and psychological growth with compassion, respect, and cultural humility

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

A current or eligible Maryland license or certification, including:
CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or ADT
NPI and Medicaid provider number preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders
Familiarity with CARF, ASAM levels of care, and COMAR regulations (preferred)
Commitment to ethical care, clear documentation, and professional collaboration
