What You Will Do
As the Administrative Technician for Zoning Administration, you will support the office by answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, intaking, tracking, and filing documents and communications to maintain efficiency and organization. We are looking for a team player who is ready to support a team of professionals engaged in zoning regulation. Your day-to-day will include decisions to prioritize needs, ensuring smooth correspondence with visitors and County employees.
Essential Duties
• Answer phone calls, taking messages and redirecting as appropriate.
• Perform general support functions such as scheduling meetings, distributing mail, and retrieving information.
• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment.
• Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility.
