Monday to Friday

Currently looking to hire a full time Assistant Director and Lead Teacher for a small center (12 kids max). Preferred candidates should have strong classroom management, with the ability to maintain a clean, safe creative learning environment. This position requires a lot of patience and the ability to multitask daily.

The candidate must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to care and teach children effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.

Preference will be given to those who have completed Maryland requirements such as 90 hours of childcare related training (or willing to attend one as soon as hired)

The candidate should be willing to come in-person for an interview.

The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, loving, caring and patient. Requirements: *Undergo a physical and TB test as well as a criminal background check. *Have CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire date. *Prior Child Care experience is preferred, but not required. *Have reliable transportation. * Be able to complete required Early Childhood coursework online and in class

Job Requirements

Able to pass a background check as per Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).

Have/ able to obtain MSDE certifications,
