Job Description

The City of Westminster is seeking an innovative professional to serve as the Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Program Coordinator for a police department comprised of 46 sworn officers. This grant-funded position will work with other police department personnel to manage the Department’s BWC program and to process BWC digital evidence. Essential job functions include “Coordinates the assignment, inventory, and maintenance of BWC equipment; Assists with BWC training; Processes evidence requests for the State Attorney’s Office; Coordinates with the City Clerk to respond to Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) requests for BWC records; May testify in criminal or civil court or other public hearings to verify the integrity of evidentiary data collected. Job Requirements

Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license. Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field of study; two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and related experience is required.
