Job Description

We are currently hiring experienced caregivers, current med – tec licensed, preferred. Or willing to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.

We have a few different shifts available for p/t help right now. More hours available PRN. Our shifts typically run 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 9 pm, 3pm – 11pm and 11pm – 7am.

Our caregivers need to:

* Assist our residents with their activities of daily living, dressing, bathing, toileting and grooming

* Pass medications, take blood pressures, blood sugars and record it (If you have a current med tech license)

* Prepare light meals and snacks

* Keep our home clean, safe and welcoming

* Document resident care accurately

* Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stay on your feet, most of an 8 – hour shift

* Most importantly…. bring kindness, patience, and dignity to every interaction

Job Requirements

* Have experience working with seniors in an assisted living facility

* Have your Medicaton Technician license or ability to obtain it, w/n the first 30 days of employment

* Have a current First Aid and CPR certification

* Show up when you say you will / have reliable transportation

* Has a warm, positive attitude

* Works well independently, especially for overnight shifts

* Pays attention to detail

* Takes initiative

* Wants to make a real difference in the lives of seniors
