Job Title: Part-Time Cook

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving quality meals in a timely manner while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have basic cooking skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely in compliance with health and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with menu planning, food prep, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with restocking.
Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Collaborate with team members and support other kitchen staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time position (hours may vary depending on needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Pay rate based on experience.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Job Requirements

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but not always required.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
Team-oriented, dependable, and professional.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
