Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Passenger Transportation Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. As a passenger for hire driver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours, earn competitive pay, and receive training to enhance your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operated passenger transportation vehicles (e.g., minivans, sedan, wheelchair accessible, shuttles) according to company policies and local regulations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at designated locations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities or special needs.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate changes as needed.
• Keep accurate records of passenger counts, trip logs, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
• Participate in training programs and safety meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in passenger transportation or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not required.

Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Have a valid driver’s license
Clean driving record (must provide a complete certified driving record), Background check
No more than 3 points on driving record
Excellent customer service skills
Must pass background check
Knowledge of the city’s streets and landmarks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Other Job Requirements

• Ability to assist passengers with luggage and mobility devices.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.

Wages per hour: $15 hourly
Number of openings: 5
Overtime: YES
