Workforce Development Employment Services Supervisor
Information
Pay Range (Grade): Annual Salary $65,000 – $117,000 (A300)
Other Compensation Offered: Limited Hybrid Telework Arrangements

What You Will Do
As a part of Carroll County’s Workforce Development, you will support county government by leading professionals to help citizens develop in-demand workplace skills. Working under the regulations of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other grants, you will use your specialized knowledge and expertise of employment trends to build local partnerships and develop training. The work you do will help Carroll County Government drive economic growth and support the public grow their careers.
Essential Duties
Monitor content, procedures, and scope of training for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and other grant programs. Promote programs and services to customers.
Engage community and workforce partners to design and participate in programs and services.
Monitor customer data reports via Management Information System (MIS) and internal records for federal compliance.
Responsible for funding decisions involving customer training and contract services.
Engage as an active member of leadership team. Provide input to guide strategic agency goals.
Participate as team member for all state and local program monitoring, file reviews and data validation.
Review training vouchers for alignment with in-demand occupations and availability of funds. Work cooperatively with fiscal manager to accomplish task.
Implement standards developed in coordination with peers through policies, procedures, and work schedules. Lead team training to reinforce integrity, ethics, and use of best practices.
Encourage collaboration and support team members work and development through mentorship. Build and maintain a welcoming workplace.
Maintain transparent communication to support flow of information in the organization.
Lead team operation to meet standards set in Federal, State, and local laws. Partner with legal counsel to ensure policies, procedures, and practices follow applicable Carroll County ordinances.
May perform additional duties in supervisor’s absence.
Adhere to schedule of reporting for all grant funded programs. Monitor progress of grant objectives and activities. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
