Job Description
Cleans patient/isolation rooms daily according to departmental standards to reach customer service goal. 10%
Cleans and prepares patient discharge rooms according to departmental standards. 10%
Cleans restrooms and bathrooms according to departmental standards. 10%
Collects all regular, medical, and recyclable waste according to departmental standards. 8%
Dust mops and wet mops all resilient tile floor areas according to departmental standards and schedules. 8%
As assigned, machine scrubs, waxes, and spray buffs resilient floor areas according to departmental standards per
schedule and/or annual competencies. 3%
As assigned, vacuums, spot cleans, bonnet scrubs and extracts carpet areas according to departmental standards per
schedule and/or annual competencies 6%
Performs daily weekly monthly terminal cleaning according to departmental standards per schedule and/or annual
competencies. 10%
Assembles needed materials, supplies and chemicals on service cart according to departmental standards. Cleans and
restocks cart according to departmental standards. 10%
Cleans all equipment used and reports any needed maintenance. Returns all equipment to storage when not in use
according to departmental standards. 5%
Performs safety and health management and maintains a neat clean and safe work environment according to
departmental standards. 4%
Completes all paperwork according to departmental standards. 6%
Uses the computer and phone system according to departmental standards. 5%
Attends scheduled in services monthly meetings and mandatory annual training as required by department and hospital.
